Rebecca Rubin is a lively girl with a dream to become an actress!!
It's 1914, and that's considered improper. But that won't stop her!
Then, the war in Russia, her home place, gets worse. Her cousins and some family are still over seas. They must leave Russia for a better life in America. But it's not easy. Every one is trying to save money to afford their tickets. Everything seems so hard for her Russian-Jewish family.
Can Rebecca find a way to help?
